Potentially rich girl

This is the chart of a 19 years old student who is from a very rich family. Her family is in the timber business and she's from a neighbouring country where the rich can be filthy rich.

Her chart is a fake follower chart. So, the fire, earth and the metal stars are all positive. With the positive wealth star in the month branch, she is born in the door of wealth. Her earth wealth stars are strongly rooted and with 1 solid block of wealth stars in her parents' palace, she will definitely inherit a very substantial amount.

Heaty liver

This is the chart of a 14 years boy whom I suspect has a very heaty liver. A heaty liver can cause a person to be irritable and temperamental. If not addressed, the liver can also be in problem. If sleep is insufficient, he is likely to have headaches and it can also affect his vision.

There are 2 sets of hai-mao-wei woodframe that transfromed into wood stars supported by the water season. This transformation caused the ding fire DM to become strong. A strong fire DM does not want self and resource stars. The protruding dings make the liver heaty. The liver is represented by the yi in the year stem.

This boy has just returned home from a 5-days camp. He was down with a fever that seems to return each time after sudsiding. His mother wonders why the medicine is not working and she is suspecting that his boy might have crossed path with the bad spirits. With the 2 negative dings beside the ding DM, we cannot rule out this possibility.

A teenager can see the spirit world

Call it affinity. I just come across another chart whose owner has had some experiences with the spirit world. This chart belongs to a 16 years old student of mine. She said that she started seeing things beginning from 2007, ding-hai year.

This was her report.

1. It all started one day when I heard a little girl crying in the back corner of my classroom. I turned around and saw a little girl crying and was surprised that nobody else took notice. She then disappeared suddenly.

2. There was once I was having a test and suddenly felt somebody looking over me. When I looked up and saw her, she just flew off. Somehow, I know that she was a teacher who has passed on.

3. When I went to the hospital where my mother has just delivered, I saw a "pregnant lady" passed by me. She didn't seem to be walking.

4. Not long ago, I went to a temple to pray to the deity Kuan Yin. The statue then glow with light.

I just wonder why she wasn't afraid with some of these unworldly experiences.

Here are the indications from her chart regarding this fenomena.

1. The presence of strong gui as it is rooted in the winter season. Gui represents the "vapour objects".

2. The rooted gui is also her strong 6th sense star which is the indirect resource star. She has strong reception towards these beings.

3. The si of the hour branch clashed the hai of the ding-hai year thus opening the "door" in the year 2007.

4. If you are into shen-sha, the gui-you year pillar contains a "funeral door" star.

A very sad accident

This is the chart of a 66 years old man who met with a very bad accident about 2 years ago in 2008, wu-zi year, during his wu-yin LP. He was driving from Malacca to Singapore with his wife to pay a visit to his son there. About half way through the journey, along the highway, he lost control of his car and the car swerved into a ravine on the left. His wife died on the spot and he sustained much bodily injuries. At present, he has recovered completely from his bodily injuries and with much moral support from his family members and friends, he has also recovered much from the mental anguish.

Coming to think of it, it was quite a bizzaire accident. He said that suddenly there were flies in his car and one of them entered his eye. That was how he lost control of his vehicle.

Looking at his chart, there is a double shen-yin clash in his present LP. The clash from the shen of the month branch can be arbitrated by the ren of the month stem whereas the clash from the shen of the year branch has no arbitration at all.

Where are the indications from the natal chart that show the demise of his wife from an accident?

This chart is a weak jia DM and so his wife star is also the wood star which can both be represented by yi and jia.

1. The chou-chen destruction causes the yi to fall back into the graveyard of chen inside the spouse palace. Since they were visiting their son, his children palace is also involved.

2. The geng inside the shen of the year branch is "cutting" the jia above it. Fated to happen?

Since he is now in the geng-yin year in his wu-yin LP, there are now multiple shen-yin clashes in his chart. Will there be anymore accident?

Another spooky chart

During the recent Chinese New Year celebration, I gave a few readings for some of my ex-students and this chart stands out from the rest. It belongs to a 27 years old man.

With 2 gui-hai pillars in the natal chart and having the si-hai clash, you can expect the chart to be spooky. His indirect resource star, bing can also be found inside si. I told him immediately that he is likely to encounter the spirit world and this was what he said :

"I was once hospitalised when I was 17 years old. Lying in my bed, I could see a ghost flying around at a window. She has long hair and was wearing a white robe but her face was not clear. I told my mum about it and she went to consult a Chinese deity and the deity confirmed what I saw.

When I was studying in the university, I had another experience during my third year. I could see a dark figure in my room. He even tried to strangle me when I was sleeping. I woke up feeling very frighten and had to sleep with the lights on."

He then asked me if his yin-yang eyes can be closed. Maybe some Taoist masters out there might have the ability to do so.

Spiritually challenging chart

This is the chart of Y who wrote in to have a better understanding about his life. It is quite a spiritually challenging chart. In order not to disclose anything too personal, I have ask him to write in the comment column on his readings for learning purposes. Below is his e-mail to me.

How do you do? I obtained your email from Bing Bazi. Not sure if welcomed to ask for your Bazi guidance? In case yes, very much appreciate your take on my chart which you may share on your blog too (excluding personal info :)

I read your post on yin-yang eyes and interestingly I do have Gui-Hai in my year pillar and sometimes have spirit/spiritual experiences. So far most experiences with spirit has been negative sense where I felt been paralysed and approached by bad spirits just before entering sleep state. Maybe this is not so uncommon. From a spiritual sense eg. I have experienced my body exploding & my Guru visiting me in dreams.

My questions:

1) Does the chart support further development of this faculty?

2)Would a religious lifestyle suit this chart? From what I gather the chart is already strong in fire (not favourable element) hence such a life is not suitable..?

Any other advice...Currently facing possible retrenchment as Geng-Yin begins. Also facing health challenges.

Unfortunate death

This is the chart of a 34 years old male engineer who died after a gas explosion in a yet to open shopping mall. It occured in the middle of December 2009. He was based in Kuala Lumpur but his company has sent him to Malacca for a 2 years assignment on the mall.

After the accident, his family members rushed down from way up north to see him at the ICU. He was still alive after the explosion but was unconscious. Then, through a third party his family members met me and requested me to have a look at his bazi.

I have told them to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

This is a weak ren DM and the only positive palace is the spouse palace with contains a resource star. Since the resource star does not protrude, the ren DM is at the mercy to all the negative stars of wood, fire and earth. In this wu-xu LP, the xu is clashing with the chen of the year branch. In 2009 ji-chou year, the chou is also clashing with the wei of the month branch. These earth clashes release the protruding wood and fire stars which then further strengthen the already very strong earth stars of the wu-xu LP and the ji-chou AP. The weak ren DM is badly countered by the strong earth stars which resulted in his death.

2 days after the reading, he passed away without regaining consciousness.

Can he actually be saved?

From bazi perspective, these are recommendations I would give him when he received the assignment.

1. Get married earlier in order to activate his positive spouse palace.

2. Bring his wife along wherever he was assigned.

3. Follow his intuition as his ren DM is seated on an indirect resource star. Prayers and meditation can help to strengthen his intuition.

4. Avoid going to funerals, funeral parlours and visiting people in the hospitals in order not to increase his bad luck. He has negative bing strongly rooted in si. Negative fire stars also represent the bad spirits. Is the mall haunted?
